Match 4 | SWvMIE Preview: Time to extend our stay at the top of the table

Three games into the league, and two thumping wins later, we are the table-toppers. We’re on the road now, to Sharjah for the first time to face the Warriors. Small boundaries, the reputation of being the flattest track in the world, and two teams coming off wins. Oh, it promises to be delicious. 

With Trent Boult breathing fire in the last game, skipper Nicky P smashing bowlers around for fun, Rohid Khan shining on debut and Muhammad Waseem, well, carrying on from where he left last season, we have our bases covered. It’s time to take it up a notch, become ruthless, and nail the top spot in the first half of the tournament itself. 

You’ve been amazing in Abu Dhabi, flocking the grass banks and making it a sea of Blue and Gold. Let’s show some love in Sharjah now, and in case you happen to be on the streets right outside the ground, wear your helmets! You never know when flying balls will hit you.
